WILL is seeking to hire a reliable, organized individual in charge of assisting the Co-Presidents in their roles and overseeing the performance of all other Vice Presidents.
Vice President of Finance
WILL is seeking to hire a meticulous and responsible individual to take on the role of Vice President of Finance for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. The VP of Finance role offers you an exciting opportunity to gain relevant experience in the fields of accounting and finance. WILL is looking for a dedicated individual to take responsibility for keeping accurate, detailed records of WILL’s finances. In this position, you will report directly to the Presidents with timely financial information in order to aid in decision-making and will also play a key role in developing financial procedures and policies for the club. Experience in managing finances and strong attention to detail are an asset for this role.
Vice President of Events
WILL is looking to hire an organized and hardworking individual to join the executive team as Vice President of Events for the 2021-2022 academic year. The VP of Events will work closely with the Presidents in planning, executing, and monitoring all WILL events. In addition, the VP of Events will play an integral part within the WILL team to ensure quality in the value that we provide to both our members and partners. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively, manage a small team in a leadership capacity, and work closely with the executive team for seamless execution. Prior event planning, organization skills and ability to manage time effectively are an asset for this role.
Vice President of Corporate Relations
WILL is seeking to hire an organized, diligent and proactive individual for the role of Vice President of Corporate Relations for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. The VP of Corporate Relations is responsible for actively seeking, creating and fostering relationships with external stakeholders of WILL to ensure value-added for both parties. Furthermore, this position will require the provision of regular updates on the status of current and prospective sponsors, assistance and collaboration with the executive team in the creation of sponsorship materials and feedback forms, and constant communication with corporate partners via email.
Vice President of Marketing
WILL is looking to hire an individual with a creative mindset and a constant drive for success, to take on the role of Vice President of Marketing for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. WILL hosts a variety of amazing events throughout the year and is seeking the greatest marketing and advertising talent to attract members to our events. WILL is focused on rebranding for this upcoming year and is looking for an individual to take on this exciting branding project.
Vice President of Digital Media
The VP of Digital Media will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns for each event and maintain a strong online presence. This role will use a variety of social media platforms to increase member engagement, specifically event attendance, and website traffic. Platforms include Facebook, Instagram, and our website.
Vice President of Internal
Do you have a passion for human resources, enjoy hiring and like to organize team socials? Then the VP of Human Resources is the role for you. The VP of Human Resources reports directly to the Presidents and works closely with every executive portfolio to promote a strong culture within the Women in Leadership Laurier executive team. The VP of Human Resources is responsible for team updates, check-ins and team-building initiatives.
Vice President of Mentorship
WILL is looking to hire an individual who is passionate about our mentorship program. We are looking for someone who sees the value in connecting students to establish strong mentor relationships. The VP of mentorship is responsible for the overall running and expansion of WILL’s mentorship program for the 2021-2022 academic year.
