What is WILL?
Women in Leadership Laurier’s (WILL) primary focus is to promote equality, diversity and inclusion while fostering the continuous growth and development of female students interested in various areas of business. We aim to nurture, empower and inspire female leaders from diverse backgrounds by providing students with resources, information and support needed to succeed in today’s professional environment. Together, we hope to embrace the knowledge, expertise and experiences of industry professionals, communities and our peers to enable success without boundaries.
What does WILL do?
WILL Events
Our events provide students the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers, a variety of companies and network with professionals to learn more about fields that interest them.
Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program pairs mentors and mentees together based on similar interests and goals. The pairings work closely together to foster a relationship that benefits the growth and development of each other​.
Philanthropy Initiatives
WILL aims to give back to the Waterloo community by supporting local non for profits. This year the WILL team raised over $400 to support the Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region from our WILL's Little Library.

Women in Leadership Laurier’s (WILL) primary focus is to promote equality, diversity and inclusion while fostering the continuous growth and development of female students interested in various areas of business… and Grace and Namra wanted to represent exactly that. Throughout their time at Laurier, they’ve made it their goal to inspire female leaders from diverse backgrounds in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Grace and Namra are passionate about providing students with resources, information and support needed to succeed in today’s professional environment, and becoming industry leaders. They absolutely love their WILL family and couldn’t be prouder of the team that they’re grown into today.
